I have been teaching for 19 years.  I received my undergraduate degree from Campbell University in Family and Consumer Science, with a concentration in Child Development and Elementary Education. I received my Master's degree from Grand Canyon Univsersity in Education Administration. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Currently, I teach Reading Recovery and work with small groups.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and enjoy doing embroidery and vinyl work on the side. I'm actively involved with my church by helping out with music.
