 About Me:

¡Hola! My name is Ana Velazquez. I am native from Puerto Rico. I am excited and honored to be back again and be part of the OHS Jaguar's family. This is my seventh year at Overhills and I really love it! My goal as a teacher is to ensure that my students learn the basics of the Spanish language using reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. I will focus on comprehensible input to help students to acquire the language, using the levels of proficiency set by ACTFL. I will combine this with the culture of the Spanish speaking countries so they can have a global awareness. I will use technology in order to comply with the 21st Century skills to enhance my lessons. I want my students to succeed in life, I want them to be responsible citizens in our community, and help them reach the next level.

Finally, I am proud to be part of the Jaguar Family and excited to be working with you and your daughter/son this semester!!

Go Jaguars!!!
