Hi and Welcome!   I'm delighted to be teaching at Johnsonville Elementary, and this is my third year at JES.   I'm the mom of 3 grown kiddos.  My son is in the Army stationed at Ft Carson, and both of my girls are in college (Texas State and UNCW).   My husband is retired USAF, and currently works at Ft. Bragg.  That being said, I am familiar with the military life and raising children.   I understand the struggles of busy schedules, homework, and establishing rules and boundaries.   Since my own children aren't living at home any longer, I really enjoy getting to know my students and helping them learn and grow.   I am originally from Charleston, SC.  I graduated University of Maryland University College with a degree in Computer Information Technology.   I will also be attending East Carolina University this Fall to expand on my degree and pursue a Masters in Education.    I love to travel, spend time boating and on the lake, hike with the dogs, attend concerts with my hubby, and see my kids any chance I can.   I pride myself on communication and organization, and look forward to a promising new 2022-2023 school year.
