Absences: If your child is absent, please send in a note that is signed and dated with the reason your child is out within 3 days of the absence. 

Tardies: The tardy bell rings at 8:20 and we like to begin our day ASAP. If your child arrives after 8:20 they must get a note from the front office. As a reminder tardies are very disruptive, please try to avoid them as much as possible. 

As a reminder your child may NOT come to the classroom before 7:45 in the morning. This is for safety reasons and we do not want children unattended roaming the halls.  

Homework: Check the Homework folder daily for homework. Also, please read EVERY night with your child and spelling words daily. 

Leaving School Early: Many parents want to leave with their child before dismissal time.  If it is a medical/dental appt. that is appropriate.  When children are taken out early, it disrupts the day for them and the class.  Please be thoughtful about this situation and try to keep those times to a minimum.  Thanks!

Class Dojo: If you have not signed up for Class Dojo, please do so in order to view your child's daily behavior report.  I do not send home any reports unless it is necessary and provide Class Dojo as an instant report to why your child has recieved or lost points.
