MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Coats-Erwin Middle School school counseling program is to advocate for, collaborate with, facilitate for, and motivate all students. Using data, the comprehensive school counseling program will provide services to promote the success of all students in the development of their academic, career, personal and social skills. School counselors team with parents, teachers and the community while adhering to the ethical standards of the American School Counselor Association.WHAT WE DO
School counselors provide a comprehensive school counseling program that improves student achievement and enhances the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. The comprehensive school counseling program is delivered through classroom lessons, individual counseling and small group counseling. School counselors collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, other school staff and community resources to promote student success. School counselors also provide leadership and advocacy to promote equity and access to opportunities and rigorous educational experiences for all students.MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
