The mission of Harnett Central Middle School Counseling Program is to advocate for, collaborate with, facilitate for, and motivate all students. Data will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the comprehensive school counseling program so that appropriate services are available to promote the success of all students in the development of their academic, career, personal, and social skills. School counselors team with parents, teachers, and community while adhering to the ethical standards of the American School Counselor Association.
The vision of Harnett Central Middle School's Comprehensive School Counseling Program is to produce students that are college and career ready and are prepared to meet the challenges and expectations of the 21st century. The comprehensive school counseling program supports all students’ access to and participation in a challenging curriculum as well as high-quality opportunities for self-directed personal growth. As successful lifelong learners and productive citizens, our students achieve their fullest potential and make a positive contribution to their school and community.
