Hello Parents, & 1st Graders! My Name is Whitney Harrison. I am so excited about this upcoming year and I am proud to be a returning Yellow Jacket! Here is a little background on me: I got my Bachelor’s Degree at Fayetteville State University and I have a huge background in educating and directing After School camps and programs for a wide age ranged group of children. I like to perfect my craft by always keeping up with the new and constantly educating myself through various resources, certifications and courses to be the best Educator that I can be. I am also an Outreach Leader at my church and helping people is one of my strongest gifts. I am one of the chosen people who has been called to educate our youth in specific.

Teaching is my ultimate passion! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development -academic, social, language, and motor is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. 

I was born in raised in Lillington NC, I am a country girl at heart! In my free time I love to ride 4 wheelers, play nerd/splat wars with my children, but most importantly I love eating, traveling, shopping and hanging with my best friend, my sister! 

I am happily married and I have four handsome boys MJ, Ruben, Kai, and Montana (Puff). My husband and I both mentor children of all ages spiritually and athletically. We love to watch our own children play sports, specifically basketball, football and baseball.

Children are a joy, and I am inspired and excited to assist them on their educational journeys! Helping them find their true identities is my ultimate goal.
