Hello,

My name is Parris James and I am a 4th Grade Teacher here at Johnsonville Elementary. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and an English Literature minor. I have always enjoyed working with children and contributing to their growth and this led me to become a teacher! I come from a military family and have traveled the world and learned many things about different cultures. I have four sweet children: 7 grader, 4th grader, Kindergartener, and a three year old. I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and that made me into a lover of all things Disney. I am also a huge fan of Harry Potter! In my freetime, I enjoy reading, running, traveling to new places, visiting beautiful beaches, hiking, cooking/baking, and shopping.
