Welcome
I am Latoya Comer. I am so excited about serving on the second-grade team at Anderson Creek Primary School this year! I pride myself on my desire to learn and my ability to understand the unique needs and abilities of students. I foresee us having a year full of laughter, fun, and learning opportunities!
A Bit About Me
Prior to teaching second grade, I taught middle school grades 6-8 in Cumberland County Public Schools. I also served in Harnett County Public Schools as a speech-language pathology assistant. I have a history as an exceptional children's case teacher and familiarity working with a plethora of exceptional children's identifications.
I was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and I am a graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and an associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting. Aside from my role as a teacher, I am a wife and mother. I cherish the fact that I can serve in the aforementioned roles and I am elated to know that I have the opportunity to grow with each of you. I am just a message away if you would like to chat more!
