Hello!  My name is Karen Stephens and I serve students with last names beginning with Mc and N-R. I have been a Harnett County School Counselor since July 1999.  I joined HCHS in June of 2010.  I absolutely love working with High School students and helping them to achieve academically, socially, and emotionally!  Watching students achieve their goals is so rewarding!

I have lived in Harnett County since 1998 and I am married to a Harnett Central High School Graduate!  I have two children that both attend HCHS.  I received my undergraduate degree from Peace College and my Master’s Degree from Campbell University.
