ABOUT ME
Welcome to Mrs. Edwards' classroom. I am a member of the Stargazer Team in 6th grade. I am the English/Language Arts and Social Studies teacher on the team. This year I will be starting my 30th year teaching, and believe it or not, I have taught ALL 30 of those years in 6th grade. I love my sixth graders because though they are on an adventure of growing up, they are still very excited about learning. I attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Chris, for 22 years, and we have two children, CJ and Cassidie. Most of my free time is spent hanging out with my family at home and loving on my sweet dogs Ivy, Copper Luna, and LP. Some of my favorite things are reading, wearing the best shoes ever, CROCS, and treating myself to Starbucks every now and then. I am as excited to start my 30th year as I was to start my 1st. It is going to be a fantastic journey together!
