Elementary Battle of the Books (eBOB) is a program in which student teams from all over the state read and study 15 books from an established list. Then, they test their knowledge of these books in small, regional competitions. Our EBOB team meets in the library daily - time to be determined. Practice continues throughout the year to prepare for local and district competition in February and March.
EBOB has many benefits. Students will develop team building skills, comradery, broaden their perspectives by reading a wide range of books, strengthen comprehension, and stimulate a competitive spirit that energizes their desire to read. EBOB is also a fantastic way to develop and grow new friendships.
