Welcome to Second Grade!  I am Mrs. Lois Lowery, and I am married and have three grown children, five grandsons, and two granddaughters.

I grew up in rural Northeast Ohio, near the Pennsylvania border.  I moved to North Carolina when I went to college, and I have stayed here ever since.

I received my Bachelor of Education (K-9) from Piedmont International College in Winston-Salem, and my Master's of Education in Social Studies from UNC-G in Greensboro.

Since my father was from Tennessee, I knew I wanted to live in the South!  North Carolina is a wonderful place to live and raise children.

I have worked in other schools and counties in NC.  I enjoy working in Harnett County, where I have many friends and family.  I live in the middle of Moore County.

I have taught every grade level from 1st through 7th for 26 years.  I worked for fourteen years as a middle school teacher. For the last eleven years, I have been teaching first, second, and third graders at Johnsonville

Elementary School.

I am looking forward to meeting all of my students.
