Lisa Denning is in her 25th year of teaching and her fourteenth year as the media coordinator at North Harnett Primary School. She was our 2008-2009 "Teacher of the Year." Mrs. Denning taught the 3rd and 4th grades for 11 years before moving into the media center. Education: She earned her Master of Library Science degree from ECU in 2011, and graduated from Campbell University in 1997 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has AIG certification. Family: Married to Matthew; one son, Caleb and one daughter, Emily. She serves on the North Carolina Children's Book Awards state committee, and is a member of the North Carolina School Library Media Association. Mrs. Denning is the Volunteer Coordinator, PTG Teacher Representative, AIG Lead Teacher, and a mentor.
