Hello and welcome to my page!

I am the Art teacher for Western Harnett Middle School and love it here!

My Education and Employment History: I have a MA degree in Studio Art earned from Morehead State University in Kentucky. One of the most outstanding facets of my education is attending Universta de Perugia in Italy where I studied language and Art History. I taught in Kentucky schools for twenty years. During that time, I taught Art in all levels from Kindergarten, Primary, Middle and High School to college courses. I also earned an endorsement in Gifted Education and was the coordinator and instructor in that capacity for ten years. I coached several sports and sponsored many activities including Middle and High School Football, Girl's Softball, Weightlifting, Chess Club, Academic Team and Beta and Art Club. I have been teaching in Harnett County Schools for nine years! I have taught at Buies Creek, Highland, Erwin, Wayne Avenue, Boone Trail Elementary and Overhills Elementary and Overhills Middle Schools.
