Mrs. Witt has been teaching ESL in HCS since 2006.  She has had the privilege of serving the EL population at Angier Elementary since 2009. She started working full time at Harnett Central Middle in 20-21, with English Language learners in grades 6-8.  ESL means English as a Second Language.  There are currently 138 students directly served in our program at HCM.  Our ML (multi-lingual) students at HCM this year use one of the following as their first language:  Chinese, Ukrainian, Russian,

Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese,

French or Tagalog.
