Hello!  My name is Cheri Stubbs.  I am married and have a 14 year old daughter who attended Benhaven from Kindergarten through 5th grade.  I also have a fur baby, our maltipoo Lexi is a big part of our family.  I have lived in Harnett County for 14 years now. 

I have been teaching for more than 20 years.  Before coming to NC I taught in Georgia for many years.  That is where I am from and we still have our extended family there so we visit often. I attended Georgia College and State University for both my bachelor's and master's degrees.  I completed additional specialized training to become a Reading Recovery Teacher.

I have taught several grade levels.  Now I am a Reading Recovery teacher.  As a Reading Recovery teacher I work with students to increase reading achievement and success!  I absolutely love workiing with students and seeing growth and self confidence. I enjoy working with classroom teachers, especially new teachers, to find ways to help children be successful in all areas.
