I have been a librarian for 28 years.  I love reading and helping students become lifelong readers.  Nothing is better than seeing the excitement on a student's face when they find a book they like.  I also enjoy helping teachers find quality books to share with their students.  

I was a library helper when I was in Elementary and High School.  I became a Social Studies teacher and quickly realized my true calling was the library.  I followed in my sister's footsteps and became a school librarian.  I graduated with my Masters in Library and Information studies in 1994 and I have worked in Harnett County ever since then.  I worked at Harnett Primary School for 3 years and I have been the school librarian for 25 years at Benhaven.   I still love helping students and teachers fetch great books.
