4th Grade Teacher - Dual Language (Spanish)

I was born and raised in Honduras.  Three years ago I lived in the capital city of Tegucigalpa with my two sisters before moving to North Carolina. I am a cat lover. I like to watch the Star Wars movies and collect stuff of the saga. Also, I enjoy to watch soccer games, eat Honduran food, the color blue, read educational articles, cook, and go to church.

I have been a teacher for 20 years on different grade levels. In Honduras I taught two years in first grade, five in third grade, four in fourth grade, four in sixth grade, and three in high school. This will be my fourth-year in the Dual Immersion program teaching spanish at Coats Elementary. The two previous years I worked as the co-teacher in Kindergarten. This year will be my second year teaching spanish in Fourth Grade.

I am very happy and excited to be your child’s Spanish teacher for this new school year. There will be some challenges on the way we have to face, but if we work as a team, we will succeed in making your child learn the best way.
