3rd Grade Teacher 

I have lived in Coats since I was 6 and began attending Coats Elementary in 1st grade!  I loved this school so much I made it my dream job.  I graduated from Triton High School in 2006 and went on to attend The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated with my degree in elementary education in 2010.  I have been teaching for 10 years and I have completed my masters in New Literacies and Global Learning at NCSU.   I am married to my highschool sweetheart and we have two beautiful, wild boys, ages 6 and 8, and a little baby girl.  I also have five big, obnoxious dogs that I adore and 2 very spoiled cats. I am a huge Carolina Panthers and Wolfpack fan!  My passions, other than teaching, include reading, camping, and painting.
