Mrs. Jamie P. Morrison

School Counselor

CES is a busy place for academic and social/emotional learning!  Our counselors take pride in teaching our students about the importance of good character and how to treat one another.

During November, our classes will focus on the character trait of GOOD JUDGMENT.  During Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 28-Nov. 1), students dressed in different themes to represent how we will use good judgment to stay away from things that are dangerous for us.  Students will also have a guidance lesson focused on Red Ribbon Week and making healthy choices.  We know that using good judgment takes thought and consideration of the consequences of our actions.

Our K-Kids are busy during November!  They are participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, and the donations are due to Mrs. Morrison on November 8.  Also, they will help out at His Daily Bread Soup Kitchen in Coats on Tuesday, November 12.  They will serve drinks, carry trays, and clean up, in order to give back to our community and help others in need.

Stay tuned to our CES facebook page to see pictures from our K-Kid activities and other school events.  We are so proud of ALL of our future leaders!
