Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten. I am excited about beginning another great school year here at Erwin Elementary. Erwin is dear to my heart for many reasons, one of which is the fact that my grandparents, parents, sister, children and I all attended school at Erwin over the years. I feel so blessed to teach in the community I grew up in and love being able to give back by teaching. I consider my classroom a second home and I expect my students to treat each other as a family with: love, kindness, and respect. We will learn and laugh a lot this year!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have lived in Erwin my entire life. I am a proud product of Harnett County Schools. During my academic life, I attended Gentry Primary, Erwin Middle, and Triton High School. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2000, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education as well as a minor in English. In 2005, I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Campbell University. I also received my AIG certificate from Campbell University in May of 2011. I have spent my entire teaching career at Erwin Elementary School!

I live in this area with my husband  and our two children. I have a son and a daughter. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
