My name is Meghan Penny. I am the Media Coordinator at Gentry Primary School. I am going into my 6th year serving as Media Coordinator. I am excited to have been given the opportunity to move into the library and be able to help build and foster a love for reading in each student who enters Erwin Elementary @ Gentry's Doors!!!! I love to see students get excited about reading and picking out thier own reading materials. 

I began my teaching career in 2008 teaching middle school in Cumberland County. I taught 3 years at Cape Fear Christian Academy in Erwin, NC. There I taught 4th grade, 5th grade and 1st grade. Well teaching there I went back to Campbell University to obtain my teaching license in K-5th grade. After completing my teaching license, I went on to teach at Overhills Elementary, where I taught 5th grade and 2nd grade. I was lucky enough to be able to transfer to Gentry Primary, where I have been now for 6 years. I taught Kindergarten, before moving into the Media Coordinator position.
