I teach 7th grade English Language Arts. I have been a teacher at HCMS for all of my teaching career (14 years), I also attended HCMS as a student.  I attended East Carolina University from 2001-2005 while competing on the Women's Golf Team, and earned my degree in English.  After a short 3 year stint of testing the waters in professional golf, I returned home to teach at HCMS.  I am married with 2 wonderful step-sons, a toddler who keeps me very busy, and 2 dogs. We enjoy fishing, spending summers down in Oriental, NC, and just spending time together.
