I have lived in Harnett County all of my life. I graduated as Salutatorian from Triton High School and then attended Methodist University in Fayetteville.  I have been teaching at Harnett Central Middle School for six years. I have recently gotten married and we have one fur baby. I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing youth ministry, baking, crafting and traveling. This past year I visited Cancun, Charleston and Disney World. I love to help people and I really care about my students. I believe children are capable of so much more than they can even imagine and that they can accomplish anything when they are encouraged and have discipline. I have high expectations for my students because I know that high expectations will yield high results. My purpose at HCMS is to not only teach science, but to also provide social, emotional and academic support for my students so that they can grow into the very special individuals they were created to be. It's going to be a great year! :)
