Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Harnett Central Middle School! I am excited to begin my 7th year at HCMS teaching 8th ELA and my 15th year of teaching. Before coming to North Carolina, I taught 8 years in Las Vegas - 6 years at a middle school and 2 years at an online charter high school. I am originally from Ohio where I lived until moving to Vegas in 2007. My parents currently live in Virginia. I have one younger sister who lives in western Virginia right near Shenandoah National Park. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing tennis, hiking national parks, and going to North Topsail Island where my family has a beach house.
