Welcome to the EXPLORERS team!  We are going to have a great year at HCMS!  I am Mrs. Parrish, I will be teaching you all about Science and Math this year.  I enjoy teaching at HCMS and look forward to an exciting year. 

I am from Raleigh, North Carolina and moved to Fuquay Varina when Jessica started Kindergarten at LaFayette Elementary.  I graduated from NCSU with a Bachlor of Science in Zoology.  I was a Scientist for the Environmental Protection Agency for 5+ years studying birth defects from pesticides.  I love my Wolfpack!  I have taught pre-school and Kindergarten which lead me to a career change.  I completed the necessary credits to become a certified middle school Math and Science teacher.  I have taught 6th and 8th grade at WHMS and HCMS. 

I am married and have 2 wonderful daughters; Jessica and Megan.  Jessica is a horse instructor (Equestrian) and Megan is also a teacher.  We have 1 sweet Weimaraner named Onyx.
