Hi! My name is Mrs. Sherry Moton. Welcome to Second Grade! We are going to learn many new things this year and will grow in numerous ways!

Let me tell you a few things about myself. I grew up in California and joined the military after graduating high school. I met my husband in Colorado, and when he retired, we moved to North Carolina, where he was born. I have made North Carolina my home for the last 29 years. I received my Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2021 and my Bachelor's Degree from Fayetteville State University in 2007. This is my 25th year teaching and my 15th year being a part of the HPS family! In this time, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade! Teaching is my passion; I love to see my students grow and succeed.
