Hello and Welcome!

     I am excited about being a part of the Harnett Primary community.  I find it an honor to serve the students at HPS.  I am currently in my 8th year of teaching EC.  I have served in several capacities in the educational community, but teaching special education students is where I find my greatest passion.  I am currently the Lead EC TEacher at HPS, and I am teaching in a CCR setting; however, I have taught in a self-contained setting as well.  

     When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, Don, and my son, Donathan.  We love to spend our time relaxing at the beach, attending sporting events, traveling, and working in our church and community.  I attended Meredith College after high school and earned my education degree from the Univeristy of Mount Olive.
