I'm originally from Springville, Indiana.  I have a degree in Psychology from Franklin College and a Master's Degree in elementary education from Indiana University.  My thesis for my Master's Degree focused on teaching ELS students in the regular education classroom. I've taught in schools in Puerto Rico, Indiana and NC.  I am bilingual in Spanish.  My husband and I moved to NC in 2004, and I've been at LaFayette since 2012.  I've taught grades 1-10 throughout my career, and by far 2nd grade is my favorite.
