Hello,
You found me! I'm the Director of Bands here at Overhills High School and my name is Mrs. Garner. This will be my sixth year of teaching and third year at OHS. Music has always been my passion and I love sharing that with my students.
Fun Facts: I proudly served in the Marines as a Marine Musician from 2008-2012. After the military, I attended UNCP and was the drum major for The Spirit of the Carolina's Marching Band. I'm an instructor and judge for various programs and events throughout the states. I'm beyond grateful that I get to teach my amazing band students each and every day.
I'm a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAFME), North Carolina Music Educator Association (NCMEA) Southeastern District Band Directors Association (SEDBA), and Band of America's Few (BAF). For more info, look at the Marching Jags Webpage.
