About Me:

I am originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey, relocated here in NC in March of 2020, and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! I've been sewing since 1996, sewing/designing since 2006, celebrated many accomplishments, including; winning a fashion designer competition and awarded a trip to Paris, multiple fashion spreads in well-known fashion magazines, one of the eight designers selected to design a bottom for the "Complete the Look" exhibit at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont https://www.flickr.com/photos/shelburnemuseum/5805622884/in/photostream/, provided Sameerah Hart looks for a previous television sitcom (Zoe Ever After), Sameerah Hart collections featured in numerous Runway Fashion Shows in cities within the states of NJ, NY and PA, etc. Although my experience as a Fashion Designer was an amazing journey, transitioning into the Educational Field, teaching and inspiring the youth has been life changing. Encouraging and guiding the youth to success is the reason I decided to transition from the Fashion Industry to the Educational Field approximately seven years ago. Needless to say, I am elated to be a part of the OHS family, assisting these students achieve academic and career success.
