Hello and welcome to my classroom! This is my 23rd year working for Harnett County Schools. I started my career as an assistant teacher and bus driver and then furthered my career to become a teacher. I am a local, I grew up in this area, and attended our local schools including South Harnett, Anderson Creek, and Western Harnett High. Of course back then they were an Elementary (SH), and Middle (AC). This is one of the main reasons I have stayed here in this community, to give back! Even though I was born and raised here, I am from a military background and most of my family lives in Tennessee.

I am happily married with two sons and two grandbabies! Both of my sons attended Harnett County schools and this year both my grandchildren will be in Harnett County schools. Most of my time is spent with my family, whether it be just be chilling at the house, going on vacation every summer, or going hunting with family and friends. You will also catch me at the dragstrip watching cars race or watching my youngest son race his motorcycle. 

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and having an awesome year! We will be singing our way to learning our multiplication facts, so I hope ypu are ready for some fun!!
