A Little About Me

Hello Friends!  I am originally from the beautiful state of Michigan. North Carolina has been my home for the last sixteen years.  I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and taught for three years before moving to North Carolina.  

While living in NC, I have taught in both public and private education, with experience in grades 3 through 8.  I spent four years at South Harnett Elementary teaching 5th grade.  I am currently attending East Carolina University to complete my Master of Library Science degree.  I love being the Media Coordinator at Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School!  I have the BEST job ever!

In my free time, I like to read, cook, and to quilt.  I love to spend time with my wonderful husband and my sweet dog, Lilly.
