About me

Hello! My name is Cameron Turlington and this is my 12th year at Coats-Erwin Middle School. Currently, I'm teaching 6th grade Social Studies, but I am also certified in middle grades English Language Arts. I am a Harnett County native, and a graduate of Triton High School and Campbell University. I am proud to teach in this district and I know that we have the potential to do incredible things this year. Social Studies in the 6th grade is a journey through the ancient civilizations of our world. We will study the geography, government, economics, and the culture of each civilization. Students will be exposed to a variety of projects, activities, and assessments throughout the year.
