My name is Sarah Trujillo and this is my seventh year teaching first grade here at LSES! I love teaching at Lillington Shawtown especially teaching first grade! I am originally from Orange County, New York, which is where I grew up. I moved down to North Carolina in 2016. I graduated from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology. I then graduated from Dominican College where I received my Master's degree in childhood education and students with disabilities.

I currently live with my husband, Chris and our children, Jace and Brooke. We also have two beautiful dogs, Wesley and Stella as well as two precious cats, Harley and Ferguson. 

I always knew I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was little and I am so glad to be able to fulfill my dream every day! I am excited to see what this year brings and to watch the students learn and grow!
