Welcome to my class! I am excited about being your child's teacher this year. My name is Carletta McDowell. I graduated from East Carolina University. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a concentration in K-12 reading. I have been in education for 22 years with Harnett County Schools. Before coming to Harnett Primary, I taught 4th grade for five years at Wayne Avenue Elementary. This will be my second year teaching 3rd grade at Harnett Primary. I enjoy teaching. I am committed to promoting academic achievement for all my students by providing positive and effective learning opportunities.
