Harnett County Early College

 Welcome to the 2021-22 School Year!!!  I am so excited about actually being in the building! I look forward to getting to know each of you!!!!  Please know that I am here to assist you in any way that I can.  I work with students individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.  I am here to support all students academically as well as any other needs or concerns that may arise.  Please feel free to reach out to me whenever needed.  My office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.  On Wednesdays, my office hours will be  from 11:30 to 3:30.  

A Google Classroom will be set up for all upperclassmen who attend classes on one of the college campus.  This site will be used to share information regarding the college application process, graduation, and various other important topics.  I am still available to assist you if needed.  Please feel free to email, call, or visit my office if needed.  

 

 

 

 

 

Applications for the Early College are completed through an online process.   I work with the middle school counselors to assist students with the Harnett County Early College's application process.  The Principal, along with myself, visit schools to share information with students who are interested in applying to the Early College.   

An Open House is held durning the year  to encourage prospective students and their parents to visit our campus and gather information about our program.  (Open House and middle school visits will be held virtually until restrictions are lifted.)  After the application process is completed, interviews are scheduled for prospective students; student interviews are also virtual meetings at this time.  At the end of the process,  all applicants will be informed of their admission's status.  Due to the online process, all documents and communications are through the online portal.  This process proves to be easier and more concise as the applicant can access the documents at any time.  Questions from prospective students and parents are always welcomed!!
