I am originally from Athens, Georgia and I am the youngest of four children. My parents came to the United States from South America before my siblings and I were born. I grew up speaking Spanish and English. My husband and I have five children (I have two boys and he has two girls and a boy) and it has been amazing to watch them grow into young adults.
I attended the University of Georgia and received my degree in General Education, Kindergarten through 6th grade. I am, of course, a HUGE Georgia Bulldog Fan and my favorite sport is college football. I am a military wife and while my husband was stationed in Texas, I attended Texas A&M and completed my degree in Special Education. I believe that all students deserve a safe and nurturing environment where they are able to strive to reach their full potential. I whole heartedly believe in parent/teacher communication and encourage you to reach me in the most convenient way possible for you. You may contact me with any questions or concerns via email or by calling the school telephone number. I look forward to discussing your child's progress with you and celebrating their accomplishments!
Next year will be my 11th school year working in Harnett County and it will be my fifth year at Benhaven Elementary. GO BULLDOGS!! I am ready to enjoy a relaxing summer and hope you get a chance to "Sharpen the Saw". Have a great summer. See you soon!
