Hello to all!
My name is Patsy Hodges Cagle, and I will be entering my 10th year as the Music I teacher here at HES this next school year. I have been involved with Harnett County Schools for 38years, first as a student myself, then as a parent of students, and now as a teacher. I will celebrate 33 years of marriage to my wonderful husband, Jeff, on October 7th. We have 3 awesome children, all of whom are now adults. Our oldest, Isaac, is 31, lives in Raleigh, works with mentally and physically-challenged adults, and also with Amazon. Ethan is next in age at 30. He is now living and working as a School Counselor in Nashville, Tennessee. Bridgette is our baby at 27. She will celebrate her 3rd anniversary with our super son-in-law, Paris Silver, in September. They also now live in Nashville Tennessee. In addition, we have 8 fur babies (8 dogs) and 20 chickens! I love animals and, if you are one of our car riders, you'll see I love to give treats to all the fur babies that come through the line.
I'm excited to start a new year of music with our students! Music is the universal language and can speak to us like nothing else can. It can also help us express ourselves when words may fail. It allows us to travel to lands we may never step foot on and experience worlds we can only see with our imaginations. Music teaches us so many things and takes us to so many places...I can hardly wait for us to get started on the adventure!
