I am Apple Mae McArtan, a native from the Philippines. I am married to my wonderful husband, Kenneth McArtan who is native Carolinian. I graduated with my Bachelor of Secondary Education in English at Bukidnon State University (BSU), Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. I also got units of my Masters of Arts in English Language Teaching. I worked at the same school for 6 years. 

Singing is my passion. I was Performing Arts scholar in my college days. I became a member of Bukidnon State University Chorale for 10 years (2005-2015). We travelled and peformed internationally specially in Europe, US and Asia . I assumed leadership roles and responsibilities being an Assistant to the choir director. I considered those years as my learning experience in Music and It prepared me to become a well-rounded individual. I also became the choir director of Flat Branch Presbyterian Church.

This year is going to be my 5th year at Anderson Creek Primary School and I’m so thrilled and excited watching how students improved in that span of time. I am still so thrilled and excited making beautiful music together.
