Hello! I'm Ms. Doris Rivera. I will be your child’s 1st grade teacher. I am a Native New Yorker and have been a resident of North Carolina for the past 14 years. I have been blessed with two wonderful, handsome sons, Richie and Elias. This will be my 9th year teaching at Boone Trail.  I am truly honored to have your child in my class.  You can expect your child to be challenged, engaged, respected, and loved.  In return, I expect your child to be eager to learn, come prepared, and be respectful of others.  We are going to have an amazing year full of mental growth, social awareness, and physical stamina.
