Hello! My name is Mrs. Winter. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child this year! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventure and I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us!

I am married to my wonderful husband, Harrison. We have been married for seven years and have a son, Caleb, who is four years old. We also have two dogs, Pedey and Scarlett as well as a cat named Maisie. My family means the world to me! We enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time together.

I have lived in Harnett County for eight years. Before that, I lived in Wake County where I graduated from my high school, North Raleigh Christian Academy, in 2009. I then attended college at Campbell University (Go Camels!) where I graduated in 2013.

The summer after graduating college I received a job offer at Boone Trail Elementary and this is where I have been ever since. I have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, Fourth and Fifth Grade in my eight years of teaching. This will be my ninth year teaching and my seventh full year in Fourth Grade. I could not have asked for a better school to teach at!

It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I teach with passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
