    Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), and Student:

We are proud that you have become part of our school family here at STAR Academy.  Our alternative educational environment offers a dedicated teaching staff and a supportive atmosphere for your child.  Our main focus is to promote student learning and academic success, provide behavioral support and interventions, and prepare students to be productive members of their school and home communities.  As principal of this school, I will collaborate with our administrative team, our faculty and staff to support our students in achieving high success.  We must empower ALL students to utilize their creativity, intellectual abilities, and decision-making skills to reach their fullest potential.  For STAR Academy to achieve its success, it will take the teamwork of our students, parents, staff, and community.  We are looking forward to a great school year with your support!

If you have any questions or concerns about our program, please contact your child’s teacher or administration.  Our school to home connection is very important to us!

    Yours in Education,
