Principal

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Harnett Primary School.   I am a native of Harnett County and attended Dunn area schools. After graduation from Fayetteville State University with a degree in Elementary Education, I began my teaching career at Harnett Primary School.   My enthusiasm for education and passion for supporting students to reach their highest potential have been shaped over the past 16 years by the experiences I gained as an elementary teacher, STEM teacher, technology facilitator and elementary and middle school assistant principals. High standards and expectations for each student in academic performance and responsible citizenship are the core values that we embrace at Harnett Primary School. Students will always be encouraged to seize every opportunity in exploring, researching, and continuously inquiring. The staff of Harnett Primary School is committed to ensuring that every child has access to effective instruction to meet individual learning needs and ensure academic success.  

Parental involvement is a vital aspect in increasing student achievement, and our staff invites all parents and family members to be active and involved participants in our learning community.
