Greetings Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School Family,

I am excited to be the principal at Lillington-Shawtown Elementary.  Our goal is to work together with you to jointly nurture a love of learning in the children who attend Lillington-Shawtown Elementary. We know that our students’ success is a shared responsibility between the school staff, students, parents and the community.

Our first priority is the emotional, physical and social well being of our  students. We are deeply committed to providing our students an environment in which they feel safe, supported, challenged and successful. The staff and the administration are dedicated to the implementation of instructional programs that recognize the abilities, potential and development levels of all children.

We strongly believe that children are most successful when parents are involved in their child’s/children‘s education. Your contributions are invaluable to the school through volunteer time and support of school activities.
