Grisel Cuadrado

My name is Grisel Cuadrado and I am honored to serve as the Instructional Leader at Coats Elementary School. I’ve worked in Harnett County Schools for twenty years. I started as a Spanish teacher at Overhills Middle School and after a year of training at Sandhills Leadership Academy, I joined the administration at Coats Elementary. Under the mentorship of Sandy Howard, I served as an Assistant Principal for four years prior to becoming the principal at the school. I live in Fayetteville with my husband Elvin and have three grown children who have all graduated from North Carolina’s public education institutions. My goal is to develop and sustain a collaborative atmosphere that prepares individuals to contribute to the improvement of our increasingly diverse global society and community. I believe that by setting high expectations for teaching and learning we’ll ensure a caring environment that values and addresses the unique needs of the students and their families. Establishing relationships and partnering with the community, we can serve our children and improve their education and opportunities for a better quality of life. Working together we'll continue to make Coats Elementary the best place to work and learn!
