I am very excited to be teaching at South Harnett Elementary School this year. I began my journey with South Harnett Elementary 4 years ago when my husband and I  moved to Harnett County from Florida, where I taught for 24 years. Throughout my career, I have had many different experiences and have always enjoyed intermediate level students. I hold a Master's degree in Reading and also have achieved National Board certification. I am looking forward to another great year of inspiring students to perform at their highest levels of achievement and helping them find the joy in learning.

I welcome and encourage your participation throughout the year. A great way to help is by volunteering in the classroom or at our local PTA thrift store.
