Greetings from the South Harnett Media Center!  This year is my fourth year as the South Harnett Media Coordinator and my 25th year in education.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd & 5th grades in Harnett and Cumberland Counties.  I have a passion for teaching and a committment to improving the lives of children while preparing them for the 21st century.  My additional duty includes being the lead coach for the Battle of the Books Team.  

I have been married for 19 years and we have an adult son.  I have two sisters who are also teachers.  

The media center is the "hub" of the school for assisting my colleagues and our "Young Patriots" with reading materials and technology devices.  I expect EXCELLENCE each day from all of our "Young Patriots"!  I firmly believe, "READING is key to success in LIFE"!
