 About Me: I am a recent transplant from New York City where I taught English 9 in the Bronx.  I also taught for two years in Denver, Colorado as an AmeriCorps Literacy Fellow.  Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a stage hand in NYC doing rigging, carpentry, and occasionally lighting.  I worked for a plethera of production companies and theatres including the long running off broadway show Fuerza Bruta. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, cycling, playing with my dog, camping, sewing, gardening, and of course reading.
